Novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) is a new kind of virus and now sweeping the whole world, which has caused great harm to human beings. Fighting against the COVID-19 has entered a critical period. It is necessary to know the epidemic situation in other countries and the corresponding control measures. When the epidemic situation occurs, timely and effective protective measures can be taken to reduce the impact of the epidemic on the national economy, society and other aspects. Two months ago, COVID-19 spread rapidly in China. Chinese government has promulgated many policies and taken a series of prevention and control measures which played crucial roles in the several months and has made great achievements. The paper aims to comb the history of epidemic prevention and the process of controlling the COVID-19 in China comprehensively. And we enumerate the different policies which were applied to different regions with different levels of epidemic. Keywords
